Terms of Service

Last updated: August 4, 2026

The service

SimSafely sells prepaid travel eSIM data plans. Every plan includes complimentary VPN access for the duration of the plan. Plans are delivered digitally to your account and email immediately after payment.

Your account

You must be at least 18 to purchase. Keep your password confidential — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. You can change your password or delete your account at any time from the app or by contacting support.

Device compatibility

eSIMs require an unlocked, eSIM-compatible device. Please verify compatibility before purchasing — plans activated on incompatible or carrier-locked devices cannot be refunded for that reason.

Refunds

If your eSIM cannot be installed or fails to connect and our support team cannot resolve it, we will refund your purchase. Plans that have been installed and used are non-refundable except where required by law. Contact support@simsafely.com within 30 days of purchase.

Unused eSIMs

Purchased eSIMs must be installed on a device within 60 days of purchase. We send a reminder email before the deadline. An eSIM that has never been installed 60 days after purchase is canceled and the purchase is forfeited.

VPN subscriptions

The VPN bundled with an eSIM plan is free for the length of that plan. Optional standalone VPN subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown at checkout until canceled. You can cancel any time from your account — access continues to the end of the period already paid, and no further charges are made. If a renewal payment fails we retry for a few days, then the subscription is canceled.

Fair use

Data plans are for personal use in supported destinations. The bundled VPN may not be used for unlawful activity. We may suspend service that violates these terms or abuses the network.

Liability

Coverage and speeds depend on local partner networks and are not guaranteed. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected plan.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved with our support team will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date above always reflects the current version, and material changes are announced by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
